How I'd install it
Wash the plastic really well and remove any grease.
Let it completely dry.
Don't touch the adhesive once you peel the backing.
Line it up carefully before sticking it down.
Start from one edge and slowly press it down to avoid bubbles.
Use a microfiber cloth or soft squeegee to press it down.
Give it some time before washing/riding in wet conditions.

One important thing: because your sticker has a bunch of thin, separate-looking sections, I would not peel everything off at once. If it came with transfer/application tape, keep that on while you position the whole design, then press it down and remove the transfer tape slowly.
